Overview
Hiboo offers a range of features to keep the inventory of the machines you operate up to date at all times.
ℹ️ Archiving, unarchiving and deleting can have an impact on your billing.
Basics
Archiving equipment
You can archive equipment from its profile page:
Click on "More
Click on "Archive asset".
Select the reason for archiving.
After archiving a machine :
It is removed from your inventory and no longer appears in your active machines list.
Data collection stops immediately, and no new data will be captured.
You retain read-only access to all historical data collected before archiving.
Any organizations you previously shared the machine with keep their existing view of its historical data.
Important: You must unshare a machine before you can archive it.
ℹ️ Archived equipment is distinguished from active equipment by an icon that you can find on its profile page, in report tables or in the general search.
You can find the list of archived equipment in Inventory > More > Archived.
Unarchiving equipment
You can unarchive a device either from the list of archived devices or from the profile page of the archived device.
In the list of archived devices :
Find the equipment to be unarchived.
Click on the "..." button in the corresponding line of the table.
Click on "Unarchive".
On the archived material profile page, click on "Unarchive" in the status bar.
After you unarchive a machine :
It is restored to your active inventory and appears in your machines list.
Data collection resumes immediately, and you begin capturing new data.
Any data that would have been collected during the archiving period is permanently unavailable.
Deleting equipment
Deleting equipment allows you to remove it entirely from your organisation. Only previously archived equipment can be deleted.
In the list of archived devices :
Find the equipment to be deleted.
Click on the "..." button in the corresponding line of the table.
Click on "Delete".
Once the material has been deleted :
It disappears entirely from the application.
Its data is no longer visible anywhere.
This action is irreversible.
