Add a source

  1. Go to your Catalog on Hiboo app

  2. Pick the source you want to connect

    ⚠️ Careful, there are several sources possible per brand

  3. Insert your credentials

    Where to find your credentials? If you don't know your login and password, just contact your reseller and make a request to obtain your API credentials.

    To find out exactly what to request, click on a new source in the catalog and note the required information.

    → The information requested may vary from one source to another. One source will ask for the client ID while another will ask for the username. Hiboo has listed the elements you need in each source in order to complete the integration successfully.

    If you are unable to obtain your login information, please contact us.

  4. Click on Connect and collect data

  5. Success ! ✨ You will now be redirected to the integration page, from where you can follow the progress of the integration. Usually this should only take a few minutes, but rest assured, we will email you when the integration is ready ✅.

💡 FYI: we collect data from the moment your integration is activated on Hiboo, except for Caterpillar, which gives a history of 15 days.

Manage integration

Overview

Hiboo's expertise lies in its ability to collect and process multiple data sources. The integration page list all sources for which Hiboo collects data in the concerned workspace.

This page allows you to quickly view the status of your connections, the frequency at which the data is updated by brand and the number of devices connected by brand.

Integration processes are not universal and can vary from one data source to another, that's why we have done our best to make your integrations as simple as possible. And by that we mean one click away 😉

Basics

Add a new data source

  • Go to your Catalog on Hiboo app

  • Pick the source you want to connect

Name you equipments, create your categories

Once integration is activated, your connected equipments are listed in your inventory. You will be able to fill in the information of your fleet by adding their names, categories, models and dispatch them by company. To do this, import a csv file to edit the information of your equipment in bulk. To do so :

  • Create your equipments categories

  • Edit your fleet data in bulk with the import feature

  • Contact Hiboo's support to dispatch your equipments by company:

    1. Export your equipment data from the inventory

    2. Use the exported file and add a column names "Workspaces"

    3. Add the workspace(s) name(s) in which the equipment must be affected to

    4. Send the excel file to Hiboo's support

Final steps

  • Invite your coworker to Hiboo app

  • Fill in your addresses

  • Create your zone (construction site, workshop,...)

  • Activate notifications to receive reports of your equipments activities (weekly or monthly)
