Overview

Not all of your equipment on Hiboo will show certain data for the selected period.

Here are the different reasons for this:

Basics

Inactive Equipment

An unused equipment does not transmit data. Therefore, if an equipment is unused during the selected period, it will not be taken into account in the metrics.

Please keep in mind that if the equipment is in a zone where the network is unavailable, data will be transmitted when the network is recovered.

An equipment has been used but no data is showing up

If an equipment is not sharing its data, there are a few things you can do:

Check Telematics transmitter malfunction

Check for the telematic status in “Signal health”. There might a malfunction or it might be broken.

Contact the constructor

Manufacturers receive a lot of data from their machines, but this doesn't mean that they expose all that data to their users via their application or APIs.

Contact the manufacturer to discuss subscriptions packages to receive more data (e.g. idle hours).

Install additional telematics hardware

Native telematics system come with different sets of data, in that case you might want to add additional telematic hardware to get a broader range of data (e.g. fuel consumption).

Missing login information

To retrieve data from an asset we need to connect to a Source of data. In some cases, for some brands (e.g. Volvo) more than one Source is needed to recover data from the asset. If we don't have all the permissions to connect, some of the data will not be recovered.
