In order to perform a data import on Hiboo app, we recommend using the file created by Hiboo when you export data from the app.

Export your inventory from the <code>Inventory</code> tab.

Make sure to select the columns you want to see in the export

Open the Excel file. For the import, only the fields <code>Names</code>, <code>Model</code>, <code>Categories</code>, <code>Company</code>, <code>Energy Type</code> and <code>Workspaces</code> can be changed.

The fields <code>Categories</code>, <code>Company</code>, <code>Energy Type</code> and <code>Workspaces</code> are fields with a finite list of options. So, in order for the information to be taken into account, it must be one of the ones you can find in Hiboo.

- Export your inventory from the <code>Inventory</code> tab.

For Categories : &gt; Administration &gt; Lists &gt; Asset Categories

For Company : Look at the list proposed in any report offering to filter by Enterprise (the most complete list is in the root workspace with the most machines)

For Energy Type : You must indicate the code and not the name which is displayed in Hiboo. The equivalence code &lt;&gt; name is :

1. For Categories : &gt; Administration &gt; Lists &gt; Asset Categories
2. For Company : Look at the list proposed in any report offering to filter by Enterprise (the most complete list is in the root workspace with the most machines)
3. For Energy Type : You must indicate the code and not the name which is displayed in Hiboo. The equivalence code &lt;&gt; name is :

⛔️ Do not modify the fields <code>id</code> and <code>Serial No.</code>.

Go to <code>Inventory</code> then click <code>Mass update</code>.

- Go to <code>Inventory</code> then click <code>Mass update</code>.

- Select your file
- Click on <code>Import</code>.

💡 Note : a field cannot be deleted via import. If a cell is left empty, no modification will be made.
