Overview

Alerts based on severity allow you to receive an email when a fault is detected, giving you the ability to identify issues and act quickly.

Basics

Create a fault alert

  • Click on alerts in the navigation bar.

  • Click on Configuration > New alert

  • Select the fault alert type

  • Name your alert

  • Choose the severity level(s) for which you want to receive alerts.

  • Select the asset(s) you want to be alerted about.

  • Enter the recipient(s) to be notified about this alert.

  • Choose the frequency to send the alert summary

  • Click on save

Use cases

  • I want to be notified when there is an issue with an asset to better anticipate maintenance needs, reduce unexpected breakdowns, and minimize downtime.

  • I am a rental company, and I want to be notified when there is an issue with an asset so I can inform my client and provide better service.
