Overview
Hiboo Field is designed to bring Hiboo’s data quality to operational teams in the field.
With Hiboo Field, some information is available even without a Hiboo account. Using a QR code makes this access especially easy.
Basics
Note: only organizations that have subscribed to this option can access Hiboo Field.
Public profile page
The core of Hiboo Field is the public profile page, which is accessible to anyone who has the link—whether they have a Hiboo account or not.
This page intentionally contains limited information and focuses on:
The machine’s identity
Its cumulative meters/counters
Associated public documents
Give access to the public profile page
You have several options:
Copy the URL and share it (for example by email or SMS).
Provide the QR code (physically or digitally). The recipient just needs to scan it with their phone’s camera.
Add a public document
To make a document available on the public profile page, simply check the corresponding option when adding the document on the asset’s profile page in the Hiboo app.
Generate QR codes
For generating and printing QR codes, please contact your CSM so they can identify the best way to help.
The QR codes you receive or print are blank—they don’t point to any public page until you complete the assignment.
Assign a QR code to a profile page
On your phone, log in to Hiboo.
Open the profile page of the asset you want to assign the QR code to.
Tap the “Scan a QR code” button at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions.
