Over-utilization alert

Everything you need to know about the over-utilization alert

Updated over a week ago

Overview

The over-utilization alert allows you to easily monitor machines whose usage exceeds the defined thresholds.

You automatically receive, at the chosen frequency, a report listing the machines concerned over the defined period.

Use cases

  • Identify machines operating outside normal work hours (e.g., on weekends)

  • Get notified when a machine goes over its contractual usage limit

How it works

ℹ️ Only administrators can create or modify an alert.

Create a new alert

  1. Open the “Alerts” section in the side navigation, then click on “New alert” and select “over-utilization.”

  2. Give your alert a descriptive name.

  3. Define the trigger rules: usage hour threshold, tracking period (day, week, weekend, month, year), and selected equipment.

  4. Select one or more recipients. The sending frequency depends on the tracking period and cannot be modified.

ℹ️ Only organizations subscribed to the module have access to tracking periods other than daily.

Modify an existing alert

To modify an alert, simply go back to the list of alerts and click on the one you want to edit.

Then, make the desired changes and save.

FAQ

Why can’t I modify the sending frequency of this alert?
Because the frequency is directly linked to the selected tracking period and therefore cannot be changed afterward.
