Overview
Workspaces allow you to organise your application according to (1) hardware and (2) users. The dispatcher's role is to enable you to make your hardware available in the right workspaces.
Only workspace or organisation administrators can use this feature.
Basics
Via the dispatcher
To dispatch material:
Go to the workspace where the machines you are interested in are located,
Then go to
Inventory
>Plus
>Dispatch
.Then select the destination workspace
Then, from the list of equipment in the workspace (left), add the items to this workspace (list on the right).
Users of the destination workspace will then be able to view the data for the added equipment.
To know
If a workspace has parents workspaces, the equipment will also be added to these workspaces.
Via the profile page
It is also possible to dispatch a machine from its profile page and the "Workspaces" section.
Simply tick/untick the spaces in which the machine should be present.
